lotus only bloom
at the apex of summer
sleep through the winter
everything moves
slowly – at the pace of snails
when the timing’s right
the small, lonely moth
flutters too close to the flame
sets fire to the wind
bluebirds sing quiet
never underestimate
the power of flight
breathe…
release.
on a soggy night
a train whistle blows sorrow -
desperate longing
please…
take me with you
to the place where the sky ends…
and nothingness begins
tea brews on the stove
summer waits outside the door
silence fills my soul
